Over the last 10 years, we’ve been asked a lot of questions. To save you time, we’ve organized these frequently asked questions and answers below. If we don’t have your answer here, please contact us.

  • What are your hours of operation?
    Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7am-4pm and Saturday 7am-2pm. We are closed on Sunday.

  • Where are you located?
    Our nursery is located at 11362 Woodley Avenue, Granada Hills CA.

  • Do you plant trees?
    No. We currently don’t offer planting services.

  • What is available for purchase on
    You have the ability to purchase items for delivery, or pickup.

  • Is there a fee for Purchase for Pickup?
    No. Orders placed for pickup are free of service fees.

  • Where do I pick up my online order?
    Orders are picked up at our Granada Hills location. Upon arrival, please call our store. Our team will bring your items to you.

  • How soon can I expect to pick up my order?
    Please allow up to 4 business days for your order to be fulfilled.

  • How will I know when my order is ready?
    You will receive an email from our team as soon as it’s ready for pickup.

  • Can you text or call me when my order is ready?
    Yes, we can text or call you when your order is ready. Please leave this request in the note section of your cart before checkout.

  • How long will you hold my order?
    Please collect your order as soon as possible–items will be restocked after a week from the time of notification.

  • Can I place an order over the phone?
    We are unable to take phone orders.

  • Will you load my order into my vehicle?
    Yes, we’ll bring your order to you and load it into your vehicle. Please be sure to bring a vehicle appropriately sized for our order.

  • May I add on to my submitted order?
    We are unable to make adjustments to online orders at this time. Please place a new order if you’ve forgotten something.

  • Do you guarantee your plants?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer warranties on plants.

  • What if you don’t have something I ordered?
    You will not be charged for out of stock items. You will receive an ‘updated’ email informing you of the items we were able to fulfill. Payment is captured for the new/updated amount.

  • How soon do I need to plant my plants after I purchase them?
    It’s important to plant your new plant in the ground or in a pot with soil amendments and fertilizer as soon as you get it home. Nursery containers require watering often and constant care.

  • What is your return policy?
    Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on perishable materials (i.e. plants). We do not offer warranties on plants.

  • Do you offer delivery?
    Yes, we offer delivery.

  • Do you carry organic products?
    We have a wonderful selection of certified organic soils & fertilizers. We also carry certified organic fungicides and pesticides.

  • Do you have someone who will come to my home to provide design advice and/or plant care?
    We do not provide on-site services. However, we can provide advice from photos. Our team can look at pictures to diagnose pests, disease, watering issues, and more.

  • How do I check to see if an item is available?
    The availability of product changes regularly due to a number of factors related to live goods.

  • Is sod always available for purchase?
    Yes. Sod is always available for pre-order. To guarantee the amount required for your landscaping needs, please call, or visit our stores at least three days in advance to pre-order and purchase sod.

  • Do you deliver sod?
    We coordinate deliveries from Southland Sod Farms directly to the requested location. Minimum delivery amount is 200 sq.ft. of sod. Simply place your order at least three days prior to delivery date. Payment is taken at the time of the order and is non-refundable. Southland Sod Farms does charge a delivery fee which is dependent upon amount of sod ordered & delivery location.

    We never sell your data. If you’ve signed up for our emails, you will receive emails addressed directly to you from (Make sure you’ve added to your address book so emails from us won’t end up in your spam or junk folder.) See our privacy policy here.

  • Do you offer discounts and services for landscape professionals?
    Our Contractor Sales team coordinates discounts for licensed landscape professionals, we provide comprehensive quotes, pull orders in advance, and have it ready for pick up on the way to your job site, or we’ll deliver for you.
